University College Leuven-Limburg of Leuven hosted the third transnational project meeting of the Erasmus+ Project “All-Inclusive School”
On the 2nd and 3rd of October, University College Leuven-Limburg of Leuven – UCLL (Belgium) hosted the foreign partners of the project “All-Inclusive School” (KA2 Strategic Partnership), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
The meeting took place at the Teacher Training Department of UCLL campus Hertogstraat in Heverlee – Leuven. The project partners: Irecoop Emilia Romagna, Archilabo, and The Technical Institute “Ignazio Calvi” from Bologna and Finale Emilia (Italy), the school cooperative Colegio Huerta Santa Ana from Seville (Spain), the County Centre of Resources and Educational Assistance from Vaslui County and Vaslui County School Inspectorate (Romania) met to discuss the progress on the work done on the project outputs; the German partner Landkreis Kassel from the Kassel District could not participate to the meeting.
UCLL, coordinator of IO1 ALL-IN-IDENTIKIT – a research to develop an identikit of the inclusive European teacher – presented the final findings of the research analysis and explained the structure of the IDENTIKIT. The output consisted of a detailed report that compiled all the steps conducted for achieving the end product. A summary of the report has been assembled to compose the ALL-IN-IDENTIKIT, which is being translated into the different partner languages. The kit includes the methodology of the study, results of the desk research and targeted research. This includes a compilation of teaching strategies and methodologies in addition to digital tools used by teachers from the participating partner countries.
IRECOOP, coordinator of IO2 ALL-IN TEACHER KIT – a practical guide focusing on the use of didactic cooperative and inclusive strategies and on the tools supporting the inclusive teacher/educator – presented the structure of the teacher kit and updates on the data they have been collecting from teachers for the last few months. In addition to presenting the draft output blue print and timetable for the coming period of pre-testing and testing at the stakeholder schools across the five partner countries.
ARCHILABO, coordinator of IO3 ALL-IN-SOCIAL BOOK CREATOR – a free web app for the cooperative creation of open, inclusive and accessible Social Books – presented updates on the
alpha version of the app, including feedback collected from partners during the last weeks. In addition to that, a detailed explanation was given to the different functions of the App and how to use them with teachers and students.
Furthermore, the partners discussed the dissemination strategy with focus on IO1 dissemination. The pre-testing and testing phase of the teacher kit and social book creator, deepening the data collection procedure and defining the timeline.
During the second day of the meeting, the partners focused on the communication platforms, evaluating the functionality of the website and of the eTwinning platform.
eTwinning was presented by the Spanish partner Colegio Huerta Santa Ana. The possible functionalities of the platform with regard to the All Inclusive School project have been argumented. The partners agreed on a clearer visibility plan to integrate and promote eTwinning among the teachers and stakeholders.
