Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was not possible to organize the 5th transnational partners meeting of the Eramsus + “All Inclusive School” project in Kassel, Niestetal, as planned.

Nevertheless, all partners, Irecoop Emilia-RomagnaArchilabòIstituto “Ignazio Calvi” (Italy), Colegio Huerta Santa Ana (Spain), Landkreis Kassel(Germany), County Centre of Resources and Educational Assistence e Vaslui County School Inspectorate (Romania), University College Leuven-Limburg of Leuven – UCLL (Belgium) met via Skype on 12th and 13th November to work together on the contents of the project in order to contribute to the improvement of inclusive education in Europe

After sharing the ongoig situation in each country, with particular attention to how schools and teachers are facing this delicate phase, Irecoop Emilia-Romagna – coordinator of the project – provided an update on the progress of the activities.

Subsequently, the work on finalizing tools to support teachers and educators working with students with mild intellectual disabilities got underway!

In the first phase of the meeting, the partners worked on the test of Output 3: ALL-IN SOCIAL BOOKS CREATOR (SBC), a free web app for the creation of “Social Books”, open and inclusive, developed by one of the partners of the project, the Archilabò cooperative. This app is a simple and accessible way to improve cohesion and collaboration in the classroom, enhancing different points of view and skills.

Archilabò presented the Cooperative press web page, which will constitute a real archive of articles and digital books open and accessible to all, as well as the gateway to the SBC editor.

The partners then divided into 2 groups to test the collaborative functions of the editor, necessary for the collective and shared creation of books and digital texts among students and teachers and they thought about the tools to be adopted to make the use of this new web app in inclusive teaching practices as easier as possible.

Subsequently, the partners shared the online publication of the second project output, ALL-IN TEACHER KIT, a practical guide dedicated to teachers and educators for the use of inclusive teaching strategies and practical activities.

The output, coordinated by Irecoop, is already available on the project website in a downloadable version and will soon be accessible also in browsable modality, in order to make its use for teachers and educators as functional as possible!

Irecoop then presented some proposals and suggestions for the organization of the pilot activity of Outputs 2 and 3 in each country: the complicated situation, in fact, has changed the original program, but the partners will strive to involve teachers and students and present them the project results.

Finally, the partnership has begun to think about the multiplier events that will be organized during the final phase of the project in each country, in order to disseminate the results achieved as much as possible!

Even this time the partners had to deal with new ways of collaboration and sharing .. but the goal is getting closer!

All-Inclusive School is a project (KA2 Strategic Partnership), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
